Business Expansion Clubs
WISE is a membership organization with a purpose to unite all organizations of whatever kind that use the administrative principles of Mr. Hubbard for improving their own organizations and society at large.
Its membership is divided into geographical “regions.” The responsibility and authority for administering the membership in a given region is bestowed through the assignment of a “charter” to a group of at least three WISE members verified to be of unimpeachable ethical standards and proven track record as businesspersons. These groups are known as “WISE Charter Committees”.
The word charter is defined in the Encarta Dictionary as:
“An authorization from a central organization to establish a local branch or chapter.”
A local branch or chapter of WISE is called a “Business Expansion Club” or “BEC”.
The purpose of the Business Expansion Club is:
TO HELP BUILD A BETTER WORLD THROUGH BUILDING BETTER BUSINESSES.
Business Expansion Club Activities
The activities of the BEC include assisting members with implementing Hubbard Management Technology in their businesses and forging them into a group that is a source of ethics and sanity in the world. It helps them get out their valuable final products, and their sub-products, whether an auto service technician, a doctor, an artist, or what have you, in increasing quantity, quality, and viability.
This is accomplished largely through the implementation of The Model of Admin Know-How Program, intended to make each member in the area a model of the Hubbard Management System, and through weekly meetings of the membership. These meetings provide opportunities for coordination and networking, giving members a forum to meet up and assist each other.
BECs hold seminars and workshops on topics of assistance to the membership, such as sales, marketing, organizational basics and personnel handling. Expert speakers share their knowledge and experience. Many BECs also hold workshops and meetings for the membership to learn how to implement The Model of Admin Know-How Program into their business.
